Hello! I will read the story to you.

Voices come from your device. If one sounds odd, choose another.

Jesus taught His friends to call God “Father.” He even used the word “Abba,” a loving word, a little like saying “Dad.”

God is the perfect Father. He made us, He takes care of us, and He gives us what we need. He is never too busy for us, and He always forgives us when we are sorry.

Jesus once said: Look at the birds in the sky. They do not plant seeds or store food in barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth much more than they are?

Moms, dads, grandparents and all who care for us share in God's love. But God loves us even more perfectly than the best parent in the world.

Through Baptism we become children of God. That means God is not just “a” father. He is your Father, and you belong to His family.
